Engineering Schematics
Often overlooked by design companies that specialise only in naval architecture, we can design functional schematics for all vessel engineering systems. Functional schematics show the system logic of how the system will function, ie valve types, valve position, flow direction. They are the first stage required before valve selection and pipe sizing. Shaftline Design
Detailed 3D model and production drawings with tolerances, surface finish, thread definition, Bill of Materials and weight estimate fully detailed and ready for issue to your machine shop.
CFD Analysis
We use industry leading software to perform CFD analysis on your hull shapes, appendages and super structure air flow. Resistance with and without wave interaction can be analysed.
Mechanical Component Design
Mechanical components such as rudders, machinery foundations, bolted connections, hinges, hydraulic systems, bearing installations, ramps, hatches, masts, handrails, ride control systems and other similar components typically left out of design packages or labelled 'by shipyard'.
Drawings include standard engineering details required by machine shops for production drawings such as limit and fit tolerancing, surface finish, bolt & weld detailing, alignment specifications.
3D Modelling & 2D Drafting
We can reverse engineer existing drawings into 3D models, convert scanned stl files into 3D models and model and draw anything related to your marine project.
