About Us
We specialise in design of monohull ferries, landing craft & workboats.
We are independently owned and operate out of Perth Western Australia. Our Principal Designer is Steve Chapple, a marine industry veteran with over 30 years of experience, who has an honours degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Certificate of Advanced Naval Architecture and is an Autodesk Certified Professional in Inventor for Mechanical Design.
Previously trading as Wavemaster Design, we changed our name to avoid confusion with Singapore based ferry operators and to better reflect our commitment to a streamlined approach to vessel design and construction.
Steve has also has been designing recreational aluminium kit boats since 2004. Hundreds of his aluminium kit boat designs have been built world wide and many are still being sold today under various brands. We will be launching a limited range of DIY alloy kit boats soon.
